Damsels Of ColorI've been a collector of bondage photos, videos and art for a very long time. And one of the many things I've always wondered about was "why aren't there more damsels of color on the bondage scene?" Personally, I call myself an equal opportunity kidnapper. And I have heard and read many reasons as to why ebony ladies are so rare. Regardless, I love seeing ladies of all shades tied up and gagged. From lovely blondes such as Stacy Burke to the wonderful Japanese and Chinese ladies in Phantom's Bound Beauties Photo Salon. But (as a person of color myself) I always got a special thrill from seeing a lovely ebony lady all trussed up, squirming in the ropes. Especially if she's wearing a business suit or a nice dress and heels. And happily, there are a couple of sites devoted exclusively to women of color tied up. Ebony Bondage and Black Girls Bound.
When I started drawing toon damsels I wanted to draw ladies of as many different shades as possible. Like I said, I'm an equal opportunity kidnapper and wanted to draw as many different shades of ladies as possible. Granted I'm still trying to perfect my own Asian ladies. For some reason I don't think the few asian ladies I've drawn look ethnically asian enough but maybe some of you may have other thoughts.
I'm also trying to get different body types. From women who are very skinny to women who have a lot more to love but more about that in another blog. Anyway, I've gotten many compliments from fans about the inclusion of black women in my work. I've always figured, why not? It's only natural to me. I only wish I could do the same in my photo work as well. I know there are some great and wonderful ladies out there but at the moment we just haven't connected yet. In the meantime, please enjoy some of the examples of ebony toon ladies posted here.

Seriousness aside, you know how colorblind I am, racially speaking. As long as she qualifies -- qualifications being 2 tits and a pulse -- then she's a candidate for some serious rope and gag work as far as I'm concerned 8)
However, I have to admit, and I will, that there is something I really like about seeing a cute black girl bound and gagged. I love how the white rope and gag contrast against her skin, that's hot. But I think what makes them stand out for My Good Self is the fact that they're a rarity in the bondage world. There's so few black models that when one comes along, especially a cute one, I stand up and take notice, metaphorically and otherwise.
I'd love to see more black girls in bondage, even if they're not models.
That's another reason I love your stuff Big A, because your art helps fill the niche.
